This is a traditional Korean madang play where families can laugh, play, and enjoy time together. The show has three parts: a funny finger magic show, traditional games for kids and adults, and a short puppet show cAlled The Sun, the Moon, and the Tiger. The rhythm of Korean drums and handmade paper puppets fill the stage with energy and color. It’s an open and friendly performance where play becomes theater, and theater becomes play.

Gnome Family in the Forest

Deep in the forest live three generations of guardian fairies. The grandfather, spirit of the trees, shares his life energy with withering plants. The father, fairy of water, pours life-giving water onto animals and flowers. And the son, fairy of fruit, provides Mushrooms filled with strength. One day, when the Tree God begins to wither from pollution, the three fairies unite their powers and dance with forest creatures to restore balance and breathe life back into nature.

A delicate automaton doll moves infinitely on a smAll table, driven by music, lighting, wind, and rhythm, where the largest world begins. A man rides a horse. And he runs. To a place unknown, or perhaps toward somewhere, he runs without rest. He passes through the city lights, barren fields, the black night, and crosses between stars and wind. And again, he runs. What matters is not where he arrives. It is the fact that he is running. Only that keeps him alive.

A small box theater opens, and a boy named Geumgangdu appears. He’s not good at martial arts and gets scolded often. His master teaches him just one pose—“Naegasingjang.” He practices it until no one can do it better. One day, a tiger comes to the village. Everyone runs away, but Geumgangdu stays. He calmly holds his pose and faces the tiger. In the end, he climbs onto its back and tames it. In this tiny theater, an old legend begins again.

A woodcutter caring for his elderly mother meets a tiger in the mountains. Fearing for his life, he lies and says he is the tiger’s long-lost younger brother, and that their “mother” misses him deeply. Believing this, the tiger brings wild boars every month to help care for her. When the mother passes away, the tiger is heartbroken and dies of sorrow. The woodcutter, moved by the tiger’s loyalty, raises the tiger’s cubs—learning the true meaning of filial piety and trust along the way.

One day, rain (communication fees, living expenses, medical bills) fell in the bill desert, and the rain quickly turned into a flood, covering Yeolssim, who was sleeping. After barely surviving the flood, Yeolssim begins to wander through the desert, unable to hold onto a heart that’s collapsing. Where exactly is happiness? Is this the right way to live? Asking and asking again, Yeolssim loses strength. Will he be able to find true happiness after crossing the desert?

The character “Maeum” (which means “heart” in Korean) once lived a peaceful life. But one day, “Scar” appears, breaking that peace and silencing her inner voice. Hurt and shaken, Maeum climbs a mountain seeking revenge—but along the way, she cries, stumbles, and begins to change. In the second half of the performance, the gayageum itself becomes the stage. The musician’s hands turn into an object that walks across its strings, while parts of the instrument transform into a snowy path, a broken tree, and a mountain. Through music and movement, the gayageum quietly offers healing and understanding.

A journey following the memories left behind in a vanished town. The audience listens closely to the traces left in the paper village, a pop-up book, using letters as clues. A paper child and a streetlight appear, casting shadows that reflect the villagers' daily lives, farewells, and longing. Amidst the burning and collapsing paper houses, the final greetings are asked. The paper child sends letters to those who have left, gently touching the vanished village.
