Foundation Introduction
CHUNCHEON PUPPET FESTIVAL
The Chuncheon Puppet Festival Foundation, established in 2001, is a nonprofit organization committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities as a cultural producer and provider.
In June 2020, the foundation was reappointed by Chuncheon City to operate the Chuncheon Puppet Theater and is actively engaged in various cultural and artistic endeavors, including festivals, performances, and academy programs.
With the aim of advancing domestic puppet theater and fostering Chuncheon as an international cultural city, the Chuncheon Puppet Festival has been held annually for over 30 years and continues to position itself as a central hub for global puppet theater.
