In 1989, a story began in a small children's center in Chuncheon (now KT&G Imagination Park Chuncheon).
People who loved puppet theater and the puppets they made filled the streets of Chuncheon.
The laughter of the children, the admiration of the adults, and the delicate stories told by the puppets colored the streets of that time like a fairy tale.
The small stage was more than just a performanceIt was a special space where dreams and art met.
People fell under the spell of puppet theater,and listened to each other's stories, laughing and crying together.
The global festival we enjoy today began with this warm and special moment.
Chuncheon, a flower of art bloomed in the alleyways of this small city.is now blossoming for the world to see.
